questioning my friends first cycle

My friend trains at a quite good gym, the owner competes and does quite well, and people come quite a distance to train there. Hes good friends with the owner. Now my friends started his first cycle - Deca only, once a week, dont know mg, but he's been told to take a two week break after 4 week, then start again for 4 week and then come off. I asked him why he's been told to take the two week off and he said his guy told him that after so many weeks, deca stops having an effect, so to have 2 week off then go back on again so it has full effect again. SAid thats not how Id do it, but didnt argue with him too much as he seems to trust this guy. N ive only gotta couple of years experience with juice.

the ester is so long it wont be full strength for almost 2 weeks and i wouldn't expect to see anything at all for at least 4 weeks

Nandrolone Decanoate is a very anabolic and slightly androgenic form of 19-nortestosterone A very prominent positive nitrogen balance is realized with administration of this product. And since nandrolone promotes nitrogen storage, growthand repair in hard-trained muscles will bemore pronounced than normal. In addition, a noted effect by many athletes polled was that most of them experienced a joint healing effect during Deca cycles. hmm, not knowing a huge amount about deca, my knowledge very limited, but the fact that he suggests his mate only does 8 weeks on the deca, and considering the fact that the deca wont really start working for the first 3 weeks,so only 5 weeks to get the best results he can on deca alone,seems different.. id have run it for 12 weeks tbh, theres still gains being made after 8 weeks is reached, why stop?

ive found in the past, that when shooting gear irregularly, missing a week here, or there, my levels have been so unstable that ive experienced harsher side effects, ranging from agression to acne...
the idea id have thought would be to have ya blood levels as stable as possible throughout the cycle so as to avoid the sides, and continue to grow.
1 shot of deca will work stabally for as long as 10days.(its active for 15days)
so in theory, your mate is actually kind of right, but i wouldnt say it stops having an effect, just a LESSER effect, so in having a 2 week break, wont be as damaging as it sounds, BUT it could increase sideeffects.
so in my view, seems a great idea if you are running low on deca and want to make it run for 12weeks.

I am amazed that someone would put another person on such a terrible cycle. Deca only (no matter what the dose or duration) is a terrible idea. Stopping it just as it begins kicking in.... I don't know what that's all about. I'd love to see the science behind that one.

I'n not kidding here, if my goal were to write a horrible cycle for someone on purpose, it wouldn't look much different than that.

Your poor friend just needs 500mg per week of test for 10 weeks. Simple and effective. If he insists on deca, he better run it at least 10 weeks and put some test alongside it. Deca needs to be run a long time to get any use out of it, which is why it makes your friend's 4 week run so confusing.

I have to agree that going on for 4 weeks and stopping for two with deca is a complete waste. Like everyone before me said, its just kicking in then.

I do disagree with a deca only cycle being bad. Well, there was a little bit of dbol thrown in the first 5 weeks. But 7 weeks of deca @ 400mg/week (poor planning) and dbol at 30mg/day for 5 weeks....wow. Granted it was a first cycle, but 18 lbs gain after 7 weeks and kept 15lbs, I would love each time. Plus, my dick was hard more time than it was soft. Point being that things affect everyone differently.

What everyone has said is the same as my thoughts, but im only a novice, and dont say much unless i know for sure im right. He is added test to his next cycle, which will be much better for him.
