    legality of homebrewing in the uk

    where would someone stand legally if they were just to homebrew enough for themselves, not sell on?

    that's a tough one for one of us to answer. It also may be hard to prove that one isn't brewing simply for one's own use.

    dont know UK laws at all
    but int he states our "Manufacturing" laws carry a much stiffer sentence that "possession" regardless of amount

    Slim chance of getting caught unless there's an explosion like my sisters superstar chemistry friend who was manufacturing speed on a big scale. Jeremy went to prison ~ dont think thats his name but it suits. Its sourcing the materials and knowledge thats the difficult bit I think.
