Paid for the amir khan fight last night and what a disapointment,anyone else see it?

the guy who faced khan, a columbian called Breidis Prescott, wow what a talent.
the guy was fast,skilled,accurate,strong.

One of the areas that i was worried about with khan was his suspect chin.
He doesnt seem to be able to take a big punch very well, and last night it was proved again.

as sad as this sounds, i dont see a future for khan no more.
the guy is talented, he is quick, strong, skillful, accurate, BUT he just isnt the best at taking a big punch, and i dont see that changing.

prescott will be a world champ, he looks the finished article, and whilst he is out there, i cant see khan going any further.
Sure they can keep putting him against slower less skillful fighters, but one day he will have to fight a guy like prescott again, and if that guy gets through, will khan crumble again? i dont see why he wouldnt tbh....

shame, i had high hopes for khan, oh well!

I guess he wont be the next naseem, but hey.

I doubt hes gona recover psychologically from this one, the guy was a million miles superior and it showed in the fight. His jaw was questionable, but when you look at the slow mo the columbian connected with accuracy and power he had no chance even with a good chin, but with a weak chin it was lights out.

I agree that Khan has a dodgy chin!

But I think he is too tall to box at his current weight. I think he should move up at least one weight division - hell, he hasn't even finished growing - and this may give him more strength allowing him to take a better punch. At least, I hope so.....he is talented but needs to stop trying to replicate Naseem and get totally focuused on his training and boxing. He's already been made rich.....now he needsto deliver.

After watching that beatdown, I think he would be better served just sticking his head in alligators jaws for tourists. Or pissing on live wires. Or swimming with sharks. You know, anything besides boxing where he might get hurt. Again. That was fucking terrible. Hell, if the exchange rate weren't so bad I would send Lewi the refund myself.
